The Lagos State Police Command has reacted to an alleged rape video involving kids from Lagos’ Chrisland School.
The video depicts the students performing a sexual act while under the influence, according to the mother of the female student involved.
Benjamin Hundeyin, the Police Public Relations Officer, stated in a statement on Monday that the inquiry into the situation has begun.
The security service is investigating “the identities of the players in the video,” according to the spokeswoman.
“The incident in the video,” “the geographical location of the incident,” and “the claimed threat to a student’s life” all must be identified.
Others involve the alleged repeated pregnancy tests performed on a student without parental approval.
The police are aware of “the cybercrime angle” and will seek Interpol’s assistance if necessary.
The Lagos Command has stated that it will collaborate with relevant ministries, departments, agencies, and non-governmental groups.
Abiodun Alabi, the Commissioner of Police, promised that due diligence will be followed to guarantee that no injustice was done.
