Hello there, guys. Welcome to the tenth and final star-studded episode of the Budweiser Smooth Kings Remix show, hosted by the one and only Mike Edwards and sponsored by the King of Beers, as you already know.
It’s been 9 weeks of laughter, joy, entertainment, and innovation. We’ve seen 18 great performers perform on the show, recreating classics by legends who paved the path for today’s musicians.
Ladipoe and Blaqbonez, new school hip-hop superstars, will deliver today’s live performance. While the two are hanging out, Ladipoe explains the inspiration behind his song “Marry Me,” claiming that the song’s topic (marriage) is something he has always wanted to achieve from his own perspective.
Blaqbone, on the other hand, talks about his first big hit song, Mami Water, which completely changed his life. Moving on to the Bud Studio, Gospel On The Beatz welcomes the week’s monarchs, who inject their own personalities into their daily endeavor. The pool of talent, on the other hand, was eager to collaborate with him. So far, the entertainers have been enjoying themselves with Gospel.
Gospel’s receptivity to new ideas, according to Ladipoe, makes working with him a breeze. Blaqonez also seemed to be enthusiastic about their collaboration. Today’s classic was possibly Nigeria’s first viral success, a song titled “Pon Pon Pon” by the late rap superstar Da Grin, released in 2010. Next, the musicians are getting ready for their live performance, so they choose clothing that complement their distinct personalities and charm.
We’re more than sure that the duo did the classic justice after just a few minutes of tremendous live performance. We’ve finally reached the end of the season, and it’s been a fantastic ride.
