Nigerian Breweries Plc, the producers of the Gulder Ultimate Search reality show, has announced a cooperation with MultiChoice Nigeria, Africa’s biggest entertainment firm, for the transmission of season 12 of the reality show, “The Age of Craftsmanship.”
“Nigerian Breweries and MultiChoice Nigeria are legendary brands that celebrate the youthful, resilient spirit of Nigerians,” said Emmanuel Oriakhi, Marketing Director of Nigerian Breweries Plc, who launched the alliance. Gulder Ultimate Search, or GUS, has been the continent’s most anticipated survival reality TV show, and we’re thrilled that Season 12 will be broadcast on DStv and GOtv.”
Busola Tejumola, Executive Head, Content and West Africa Channels, MultiChoice Nigeria, spoke about the cooperation and congratulated Nigerian Breweries on the return of Nigeria’s first reality television show, which highlights young Nigerians’ tenacity.
“To ensure that we serve the greatest local content and keep our clients, we continue to push the boundaries and accept partnerships with content creators that share our vision. We will continue to present high-quality, engaging locally produced programming on our DStv and GOtv platforms, and viewers can expect the same great production characteristics from GUS,” she stated.
From Saturday, October 16, through Sunday, December 19, 2021, fans and spectators will experience the excitement and thrills of Gulder Ultimate Search.
Despite its long hiatus, Gulder Ultimate Search continues to be popular among young Nigerians and millions of Africans, as seen by the 20,000 entries for the 12th season of the survival reality show, according to organizers.
GUS will air on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv channel 151), Africa Magic Urban (DStv channel 153), and Africa Magic Family (DStv channel 154 & GOtv channel 2), respectively.
